What is your Service Area?
Based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, I normally serve clients within an 8-mile radius, covering Holmes Chapel, Goostrey, Chelford, Congleton, Sandbach, Middlewich, Knutsford, and surrounding villages. For locations a little further afield, such as Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, and Macclesfield, a £15 travel supplement applies per booking.
Is there a minimum booking length?
For sits booked in advance, a minimum booking length applies: 2 x 24-hour periods for existing clients, and 3 x 24-hour periods for new clients.
What do I need to provide in my house?
I bring all my own food and drink and just access to basic kitchen facilities, such as a kettle, microwave, fridge, and tableware. I’ll also need use of the bathroom and Wi-Fi. For longer sits I would appreciate a bed and bedding. For shorter sits I can bring my own bedding. Other than that, I’m completely self-sufficient! I treat your home with the utmost respect, I do not have visitors, and will leave your home clean and tidy for your arrival.
Do I need to get a key cut?
I’m happy to arrive at whatever time suits you best. If you’re not home when I arrive, please leave a key in a safe place, or with a trusted neighbour, or deliver it to my premises in advance. If I leave before you return, I’ll make sure the key is safely returned, either by placing it back in the agreed safe spot or handing it to your neighbour, or you may collect the keys from my premises after the sit.
Please note that if I need a separate trip to collect the key in advance, a travel supplement may be applied.
How much time will you be at home with my pets?
I provide a premium pet sitting and house sitting service and don’t have another job that I go to so that I can focus on your pets.
I charge per 24-Hour period and I guarantee that I will be with your pets for at least 20 hours out of the 24-Hour period. I allow a 3-4 hour time window in case I need to attend a personal appointment or grocery shopping. However, should your pet need constant care that is also available, the cost would depend on the pet’s needs.
What happens if there is an emergency with my pet?
Immediate action and communication
In the event of an emergency, I will remain calm and assess the situation, then contact you right away. If you’re unavailable, I’ll get in touch with your designated emergency contact to discuss the best course of action.
Veterinary care
Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I will contact your regular vet first, as they are familiar with your pet’s history. If they’re not available and it’s an emergency, I’ll arrange to transport your pet to the nearest 24-hour emergency clinic to ensure they receive out of hours care.
Authorisation and payment
Before the booking begins, I’ll advise you to contact your veterinarian to allow me and/or your emergency contact to make decisions on behalf of your pet in case you are unavailable.
Pet first aid and preparedness
I am trained in basic pet first aid including CPR and carry a kit to handle minor issues like cuts until professional help can be reached.
Aftercare and updates
Once the situation is under control, I’ll keep you informed with regular updates about your pet’s condition, any required follow-up care, and any changes to their usual routine.
Your pet’s wellbeing is always my highest priority. You can feel confident that I’ll respond quickly, act responsibly, and communicate clearly if anything unexpected happens.
Do you do dog walking?
If you book my dog sitting services then dog walks are automatically included. I don’t currently do dog walking only.
Do you offer Day Sitting?
I offer overnight ‘live-in’ pet sitting, charged per 24-hour period. I don’t offer standalone day sitting.

What are your cancellation terms?
I offer a generous refund policy as I know that plans can change. When booking sits I need a 25% booking deposit to secure the dates. If you cancel the booking, the deposit will be refunded in full if another customer can fill the same dates. If you cancel and I’m unable to fill the dates the deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the fee is required prior to commencement of services.
