About Me

My name is Susannah, and I grew up here in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, surrounded by a variety of animals from a young age. My love for animals eventually took me far from home and I spent nearly ten years living in India, working in street animal welfare. During that time, I rescued and fostered many animals with broken limbs, wounds, tumours, infectious diseases, paralysis… you name it.

Now back in Cheshire, I’ve combined that hands-on experience with my lifelong love for animals to start my own premium pet sitting and house sitting service: Mutt and Manor.

At Mutt and Manor, pet sitting is my full time profession, not a side job. Your pets receive my complete focus and care with GPS tracked walks, playtime, enrichment, daily grooming, medication if required, and several daily photo/video updates so you can see exactly what your pet is doing while away. While you are on vacation, make sure that your pets are too!

Whether it’s dog sitting, cat care, or keeping your home safe while you’re away, I am a trusted pet sitter providing compassionate, reliable care with the same dedication I gave to the animals I worked with overseas.

Special Care for Your Pets

I am trained in emergency canine first aid, and have the ability to administer medications including injections.*

I have experience in fostering and caring for dogs with many chronic conditions, such as paralysis, skin infections and megaesophagus. As my own rescue dog lived with canine megaesophagus (megaE) for several years, I know first-hand the challenges of dealing with this condition and should you need an experienced megaoesophagus dog sitter or pet sitter I am willing to travel further than my usual service area to sit pets with this disorder.

My 24-hour ‘live in’ Service is a premium service involving only 3-4 hours away from your pets in case of essential errands. I also offer constant care for animals with conditions such as separation anxiety. At Mutt and Manor, pet sitting is my full time profession, not a side job. Your pets receive my complete focus and care.

*Please note that my insurance policy and UK law requires that any prescription medicines and treatment beyond basic first aid must be given under the direction of a qualified vet.
